How does the system work?
Euro Pool System provides logistical services to retailers. In addition, we rent returnable trays and pallets for fresh products to producers, traders, food processors and retailers. The deposit system – which usually amounts to €3,86 per container – ensures rapid rotation of the trays, and Euro Pool System guarantees stock availability of all trays in its service centres. The first user of the container pays a deposit to Euro Pool System. If users pass on the trays to others in the commercial supply chain, they also charge-on the deposit. Euro Pool System refunds the deposit to the user returning the trays. With the exception of its rigid trays, Euro Pool System supplies the trays to its clients and collects them after use. After being returned to a depot, the trays are cleaned using modern washing facilities.
