Euro Pool System processes its 600-millionth rotation

2009 was a historic year for Euro Pool System. The European market leader registered a record number of more than 600 million rotations, an ample 7% increase with regard to 2008. 5.4 million rotations to contribute to Haiti earthquake relief efforts

During the Fruit Logistica fair that will take place from 3rd to 5th February in Berlin, Euro Pool System will host a donation campaign for Haiti.
For each rotation registered during the Fruit Logistica fair, the logistic service provider will donate 0.25 Eurocent to the stricken area. With three days of fair reaching an average 1.8 million rotations a day, the donation will hopefully amount to € 13,500. -.  Read more...

Euro Pool System has experienced growth in all European regions

In 2008, Euro Pool System’s turnover increased by 29% to reach 190 million Euros and the number of trips amounted to 556 million, 24% more than in 2007. The increase was mainly due to the rise in market shares in Germany and to further standardisation by existing customers. On 11th December 2008, Ms G.W. Van der Wel-Markerink, Mayor of Rijswijk, decorated Arie de Bruijn with a Royal Honour during his farewell celebration as CEO of Euro Pool System International. Appointment of new CEO for Euro Pool System

Mr Arie de Bruijn, Euro Pool System International BV’s CEO, will leave the company on December 31st, 2008 to retire. Mr Peter Willems will succeed him and will take up his duties at Europe’s market leader in returnable transport packaging on September 1st, 2008. On January 1st, 2009 Mr Peter Willems will take over from Arie de Bruijn as CEO, and together with COO Louis Selleslags he will lead the Euro Pool System group. Read more...

Euro Pool System pleased with 2007 results

In 2007, the number of rotations realised by Euro Pool System increased by 11%, reaching almost 460 million. The turnover went up by 9%, climbing well above 145 million Euros. The growth was apparent in Belgium and Germany, but there was also an increase in demand for Euro Pool System plastic containers in other countries. That is the reason why the pool organisation worked hard at expanding and modernising its washing and storage capacity throughout Europe. Euro Pool System opens Europe’s most modern depot

On June 6, Euro Pool System will open its newest depot in the Fresh Park in Venlo. It is a state-of-the-art main depot equipped with all sorts of technical innovations, such as a fully automated washing facility, an order placement service on the Internet and an automated collection service. Euro Pool System opens new depots

Euro Pool System has opened two new depots in Italy: one in Reggiolo and the other in Triggiano. Strategically located, they will operate as main depot and auxiliary depot respectively. The opening of the depots this spring represents a 6,500-m˛ floor surface expansion. Euro Pool System now has five depots in Italy with a total floor surface of 10.300 m˛. Read more...

Euro Pool System wins lawsuit

Euro Pool System has won the fraud lawsuit it had filed against a company in Germany. The Court condemned the hirer - who ‘had forgotten’ to return the crates to the Euro Pool System depot after using them – to pay a 25,000 Euro fine. Euro Pool System is going to intensify its control policy in Europe as a result of this established fraud. Read more...
