We are looking for a fulltime:

Depot Manager
Location: West Park Ploiesti, Romania

Purpose of the job

Execute the logistical and technical management of the production unit to assure the highest production, including managing and washing trays, bailing, repairing and handling other materials. Production should take place against the lowest possible costs taking into account the SHEQ standards, rules and legislation.

Key accountabilities

1. Management

Manage the assigned organizational unit in terms of people, performance, budget and working conditions in a way that enables the organizational unit to reach the goals.

Core activities:

  • Ensure an optimal and clear definition of the tasks and responsibilities.
  • Manage, set priorities and coordinate the timely and correct execution of the tasks.
  • Manage, coach and challenge the employees in order to maximize their performance and assure their satisfaction.
  • Set, manage and control the budget, time and costs.
  • Ensure a working environment that meets the SHEQ policies and legislation.

2. Depot management

Taking care of a well functioning service centre, including their technical installations, in line with legislation and management policies aiming for optimal quantitative and qualitative flow, (supply) reliability and optimal stock management.

Core activities:

  • Follow up the logistical and administrative procedures.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of plant and equipment.

3. Process improvement
Bringing ideas to improve the profitability.

Core activities:

  • Looking at the reported results and identify possibilities to improve.
  • Follow up proposed procedures for improvement and evaluate these.

4. Work planning

Coordinate the work planning and if applicable ensure the contract with the service provider is being executed properly.

Core activities:

  • Coordinate the work planning. If applicable in cooperation with the operations responsible for the service provider.
  • Monitor that the contract is executed properly.

Performance indicators

  • Customer satisfaction.
  • Meet the SLA’s in contractual terms.
  • Budget.
  • KPI’s.
  • Reported accident statistics.
  • Quality incidents.


  • Intermediate vocational education level.
  • Relevant experience in a production or distribution environment.
  • Basic technical knowledge.
  • Spoken and written communication skills in English and the language in which country the function resides.

The Depot Manager is not allowed to take any decisions concerning his/her own employment.

All decisions concerning his/her employment will be taken by a member of the board or a power of attorney appointed in this purpose.
